The seventy-eighth photograph to feature in BlogF1’s caption contest. You know the drill, think of something funny and witty to say and leave it as a comment below. The 2006 Monaco Grand Prix saw Red Bull Racing score their very first podium, much to the delight of David Coulthard and team boss Christian Horner (who jumped into the Red Bull swimming pool wearing little more than a pair of Speedo’s and a Superman cape). Of course, the team were helping to promote the new Superman film, but how come there’s three of them!?
L-R: Brandon Routh, Kevin Spacey, Kate Bosworth, Christian Klien, Robert Doornbos, David Coulthard.
For the record, I knew the names of all the people in this photo with one exception: the lead-man of the film being promoted. I had to check Wikipedia to find out who the guy on the far left was. Other than “Superman”, of course! 🙂 I am so, so, so old. 😀
“I don’t know, you wait for a superman and then three come along at once”

RD : Why do you think DC is standing behind the RB5 ????
DC : Blimey….I knew something isn’t right when you all are looking the other way…

DC, “Look I’m lifting the car with my fingers!”
RD, “Oh boy not THIS routine again – guys if you don’t give him any attention it won’t encourage him and he might just stop abusing his superpowers”
I know Batman had the Batmobile but you don’t need a car. You can fly.
Red Bull misheard the request to send three super cars to Monaco for the Grand Prix. The celebrities expecting a 1-2-3 result for Red Bull didn’t know where to look…
