The image of the Australian Grand Prix is of Jenson Button walking out on the Albert Park podium a winner once again, this time with McLaren. Many people questioned Martin Whitmarsh’s choice of replacement for Heikki Kovalainen, believing Kimi Raikkonen would have been a better option. But Martin stood by his decision having seen Button’s performance in Brazil 2009. This was Jenson’s eighth career victory, the first for the MP4-25 car and Button compared this hard-fought win to his 2006 Hungarian success.
