BlogF1 on F1Fanatic

Just a quick heads-up for regular readers here. Keith from F1Fanatic asked me to write a guest post for his site last week, and today it went up. Keith is running a three-part series where a trio of F1 bloggers were asked to argue why a one of the three championship contenders should win. I got lumbered with Alonso, but all the comments so far suggest there are still a fair few fans of the Spaniard. Yesterday I read with delight Clive Allen’s post arguing for Lewis Hamilton, and tomorrow will see the conclusion with the case for Kimi Raikkonen. Head on over and take a look. Comments are open on F1Fanatic so be sure to leave your thoughts.

  • You should be proud that you must now be considered officially one of the top 3 F1 bloggers in the world πŸ˜‰

It was a good post, and it didn’t show too much that you felt you had been “lumbered” with writing about Alonso lol.

  • Thanks Craig. Next time I’m gonna take dibs on the easier of the options though!

Top 3!? Stop it, my head won’t fit through the door otherwise! πŸ˜› If you insist though, I have to ask, who’s the other one?

  • Hmm, well there’s you and Clive so far – I’ll tell you who is the third one tomorrow after the Kimi post is up!! πŸ˜‰

  • The third one is apparently Ben Evans of F1 Fanatic. Not surprising – if this was about getting the best three bloggers to speak up, they were hardly going to pick me, were they? πŸ˜‰

Seriously, congratulations on getting invited to do an F1 Fanatic spotlight, Ollie, and you did a good job with it. Keep up the good work πŸ™‚

I’ve considered it. But I can never think of a decent enough subject with lots of different angles for guest posters to write about. *Ollie thinks of awesome idea* Maybe during the off season…

    Thanks Ali. πŸ™‚
